Synonym:
Lithology and Thickness
Coarse-grained sandstone. Fine to coarse-grained quartz sandstone, siltstone, claystone that contains stringers of carbonate in the upper part. Grades upward from fan conglomerate at the base into numerous braided channel fills, capped by distal fan and playa facies. Eolian sandstone beds are also present. Reservoir facies are predominantly sandstone beds that are fine to coarse grained and poorly cemented to friable. Presence of authigenic clay minerals.
